Friday, January 19, 2007 - 01:35 GMT Reffering to the digital design 99 series. Will that give the option to run 1 ohm whether it be one sub or two? Would a single voice coil be better, or just the standard dual? What are the advantages/ disadvantages?

Friday, January 19, 2007 - 04:42 GMT Quad VC are for running multiple amps and/or the ability to get lots of power by dropping the resistence. To get a good 1500 watt amp, you will have to pay quite a bit more for one that does it at 4 ohms verses one that does it at 1 ohm.

Friday, January 19, 2007 - 05:24 GMT OR, I guess it'd be useful if you were to use it in a home sub and wanted to power it using your old surround receiver, say if you got a new one?
