ok i havent been around and forgot what ppl told me. i have a 200 amp alt. i am going to run a kx2500.1 so how many batteries would i need. i can only fit a kinetik hc1400 under the hood. would i need more bats in the back or would i be set with just the one.
You will be fine with one, but 2 would be better. My cousin has 1 extra battery in trunk with a cap, running a KX2500.1 to 4 L'&'s. He has no problems with dimming lights AT ALL !!
You should be able to fit a HC1800 under the hood easily,they're actually quite small.Have you done your big 3 upgrade because that's very important as well.I would also reccomend using a voltmeter and watching your voltage and making sure it never drops too low because it seems like your amp is going to draw more current than your alternator can support but I was too lazy to do the math.
yes i did do the big 3 and i dont think that a hc 1800 will fit under the hood. i can check again tho. and a 200 amp alt wouldnt be enough you think???
