If I were to put two 15s in a sealed box, which pair would have better SQ and which better SPL? Or is the SD2.5 more comparable to the SSD? (In that case what is better SQ/SPL between those two?) Thanks for the help.

OK...well I guess that is good to hear then. Each SD2.5 is $130 cheaper than the Qs. Or were you stating that the SD2.5 is better all around than the SSD?

OK...thats why I was asking. I was told the Q would sound good in a sealed, so I just assumed the SD2.5 wouuld as well. OK, so if I put them in ported boxes, how do they compare SQ and SPL?

OK...so the Q would obviously be better than the SD2.5. I apologize for all the questions, but what would be better SPL/SQ between the SSD and SD2.5? Thanks...I appreciate it.

OK...well the SSD takes more power and looks better so I suppose I would go with those or the Qs if I have the money. Is there any build quality differences?

The Fi can handle 800 and the SD2.5 can handle 500???? Or am I mistaken?

OK...sounds good. Thanks

I am having trouble getting the info I need when I put it in the proper other forums, so I was wondering if you could help me out here. Assuming I do about 2500 RMS by the time I power two 15s and some comps, what size alt do I need? I've heard a range of 200-260. Also, what do you suggest for batteries? I've heard a Kinetik hc2400 in back with a smaller one in front, and I have heard a Red Top in front w/Yellow Top in back. Thanks for the help!

OK...I appreciate it.

Any opinions as far as 6.5" component speakers go? I am thinking for sure no more than $350-400 for the pair. I will then pick an amp to match.

the kinetik battery setup would be far, far superior to the red top yellow top setup. stick with kinetik.
