That will give you 2000w rms nicely or pick a hifonics BXI 2006D. If you don't have enough money, then i suggest you save some cuz those subs are decent and they pound. |

Plus $180's overpriced, it's available for around $140 new. Which is indicative of its real value. IMO a legit 1000w rms would be plenty to get serious performance out of those subs, and you can find that for around $200. Not to mention - 2000w worth of amp power is going to be quite a strain on a LOT of stock charging systems. |
Gold Member Username: N2audioLawrence, Ks USA Post Number: 1143 Registered: Mar-04 | a mono class D amp that will give you an acceptable amount of power at 1 ohm would be a lot more cost effective and efficient (less strain on your charging system) than the regular 2 ch amps (class a/b) you're looking at. That's why Julio suggested the 3000db and 2006d, but if money's an issue I think you could step down to the 1000-1500w range and your subs would still impress. The enclosure's critical too, don't forget about that. |
