Bronze Member Username: Chevyfan502Post Number: 61 Registered: May-06 | right now i have my 2 DD2512a's powered by a nine.1 (1200 rms) in a 4 cubic ft slot port box tuned to 35hz, and the subs are close together with one slot port at one end of the box...would it be louder to have the subs divided with one slot port for each sub, or one slot port between the subs undivided.....?? thanks |

It is also cheap insurance to have them in separate chambers because if one goes out for some reason you will have twice the volume for just one, which will reduce the air pressure inside the box, and therefore may force the speaker vulnerable to being overdriven and perhaps even damaging it. It will also sound out of tune. |
