Even though the magnetic assembly is fixed the opposing force is not (input power) this has only a limitation set in stone by heat. Add more power, you raise the BL thus pushing the control envelope higher. You don't need to bring the sub to its mechanical limits to get loud, you just need to do it QUICKER. An Sx on 2500 rms (2x Kicker sx1250.1) is a lot louder than just one amp, and the one can make it bump the backplate, lol. BTW each of them has a measure rms of 1490 (matched set) Polo.. |
