I can see that just about all the legit speakers people talk about on this page are 6.5inch.
If I have a sub in the back, does it really matter if i go 5.5 instead?
I'm looking at the Infinity Kappa 50.7cs and Infinity perfect 5.1

it depends on the sound your looking for.
the 6.5s have better midbass due to more cone area.
you might want to make a wood baffle that will act as a riser so you can fit a bigger speaker
