Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 566 Registered: Apr-06 | i can get the concept way cheaper tho......any one know anything bout these??????????? |
Silver Member Username: JblanfordPost Number: 271 Registered: Oct-06 | well it only has 1000rms 2000max power the btl has a 2000rms |
Bronze Member Username: The_image_dynamicSan Diego Post Number: 90 Registered: Dec-06 | Hmmm...I had never heard of Concept either. Their subs look nice but overpriced and their comps look nice too but their amps are made from that same box/circuitry as Maxxsonics and eD. And their coaxials look cheesey. Tough read. The BTL is a proven sub. And a brutal one at that. |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 567 Registered: Apr-06 | accually its 1000rms per coil and its quad 1ohm wich would make it 4000rms |
Silver Member Username: KravenbloodOhio DD Z1 you wi... Post Number: 164 Registered: Aug-05 | that concept is 4000 rms its 1000 rms per coil and its quad coil |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 568 Registered: Apr-06 | all i know about concept is they make some nice amps... b |
Bronze Member Username: The_image_dynamicSan Diego Post Number: 91 Registered: Dec-06 | How can you get a $999 list sub for "way cheaper" than the btl which is $379 shipped? And if you can, that raises more red flags IMO. |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi Audio BTL Post Number: 8589 Registered: Oct-05 | concept ftw. those subs are awesome. i wouldn't want to spend all that money on it though. |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 569 Registered: Apr-06 | the fully loaded btl is $469 and i can get the concept for about $330 |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi Audio BTL Post Number: 8590 Registered: Oct-05 | i think he meant he can get it way cheaper than its msrp price not the btl. |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 570 Registered: Apr-06 | so chad would you say the concept would be louder? |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 571 Registered: Apr-06 | ya theres no way i would spend $1000 on it |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi Audio BTL Post Number: 8591 Registered: Oct-05 | being louder would depend on install. damn that is a nice price you can get the concept for. |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi Audio BTL Post Number: 8592 Registered: Oct-05 | you would need a lot of power to get that sub moving. but the btl is really efficient with 2000-2500wrms. |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 572 Registered: Apr-06 | how would you recomend amping the concept????? i was thinking 4 amps that are 1000rms @ 1ohm...? |
Silver Member Username: Trey4sportsPost Number: 201 Registered: Sep-06 | HEY!!!! im selling the concept CSP 18, a PROTOTYPE which is the big brother to the 15 and its on ebay right now go bid on it http://cgi.ebay.com/18-inch-SPL-champ-8000-watts-150-DB-1500-SUBWOOFER_W0QQitemZ 170066431291QQihZ007QQcategoryZ18805QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi Audio BTL Post Number: 8598 Registered: Oct-05 | i'd just get a single 4000wrms amp or 2 2000wrms amps. if you are also interested in csp i'd buy trey's sub. that thing is a monster. if i didn't already have my btl's i would buy that in a heart beat. |
