Silver Member Username: Tremor1127Post Number: 627 Registered: Aug-06 | yeah, they are t nuts, ive never used them, dont know how to. i will pick some up and master them. i was just always skeptical about them, but they must stay in the wood once there, eh? |
Silver Member Username: Tremor1127Post Number: 628 Registered: Aug-06 | do you drill a hole and hammer them in the hole? |
Silver Member Username: Tremor1127Post Number: 629 Registered: Aug-06 | my first real system was all built for me and it was 3 of the first 15" L7s, t nuts were used but i never knew how he put them in... |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi Audio BTL Post Number: 8578 Registered: Oct-05 | drill a hole and hammer them in on the other side of the wood. meaning from the inside the box hammer the t nuts in. |

It s*cks having one spin out on you when trying to take your sub out. MDF is not the best wood for those little spikes to hold onto. |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi Audio BTL Post Number: 8585 Registered: Oct-05 | yeah i hate it when you are on your last bolt and you hear a clank. the damn t nut fell off so i had to take out the sub again to fix that. |
