New member Username: Balleron24zPost Number: 1 Registered: Jan-07 | Ok so I have a 1989 chevy cavalier z24 with a power acoustik plasma sphere 1920 Watt amp and 2 12' 800W DVC Audiobahn flame series subs. It all sounds good.....when i run only one sub (or one channel rather). When i play 2, the sound is muddy and the status led on my amp dims badly. my interior lights dim a little bit as also my headlights. the alternator sounds like its runnin really hard, but thats only when i have the amp running. so what should i do, use a cap (and if so what farad and type) or get a performance alternator (and also what kind or brand)? my friends say that i should get a cap and i'll be fine. help me please. |
