Bronze Member Username: CamarobumpPost Number: 63 Registered: Sep-06 | Ok, I have two DigitalAudio subwoofers hooked up to a Nitro 2000w 2 channel amp. The subs are dual 4 ohm, 2 or 8 ohm operation. The amp says it is 2-8 ohm stable. The only problem is that when I turn the volume up about mid way, the amp goes into protection. Now, the amp is in a camaro and it sits under the box in back of the car. Is this is thermal problem, or something different? Please help, thanks! |

There is one positive and negative on one side, and then another positive and negative on the other side of the subwoofer. I have speaker wire going from one side to the other, and then that side is connected to the box. |
