My blown amp

Silver Member Username: Icecreamman5687Post Number: 113 Registered: May-06 | okk i know this is in the wrong section but u guys respond more...anyways a question first i have been told that hifonics amps are pretty strong. i have a hifonics 1606d bought it new and after a month of pushing my 2 type r's the amp blew up on me..i am now told that those amps will fry if u hook them up at 1 ohm..has anyone else had this problem |

Email Post Number: 2302 Registered: Nov-05 | Nope.. .. it will give the subs a little more than rms.. so 600rms on each type R unless your throwing a lot more voltage to the amp.. and even if that were the case more power is always better than not enough.. just crack the gain down a tad. great amp.. would make those type rs wang |
