They all LOOK good, but basically I want power, clarity, crisp highs, and good mid-bass. Anyone know what set would suit me best? I'm not wanting to spend more than $250 for the pair just fyi. |

I'd like to get a good pair of components, and then a set of rear fill 5X7's from the same brand that would compliment and not cancel out the components in the front. Kind of how Infinity makes Kappa (regular) components and then makes 5X7 Kappa (regular) co-axials. So that's basically what I'm looking to do, and stay within the capabilities of the Nine.4. Which I have concluded puts out more than the 65W RMS X 4 channels, since the gain currently isn't set at 4V, and when I DO set it at the proper level, the speakers distort from OVERpowering. And the A-Bahn amp I used to run put out 75W RMS X 4 channels (which I think was more like 50W RMS at best...). With all that said *deep breath*, any final ideas before I start putting cash aside for these purchases? I really appreciate the help! Subwoofers I can do, but there are a plethora of options for component and co-axial speakers, making it a touch overwhelming. |
