Gold Member Username: CarguyPost Number: 5819 Registered: Nov-04 | It's very simple. If your subs are dual 4ohms and you have 2 of them, then do the math. Rt = 1 / 1/r1 + 1/r2 + 1/r3 etc.. Therefore, 2 dual 4ohms = 1ohm, 4ohms, 16ohms. Check the amp's manual and see the minimum ohm requirement. If it says 2ohms, then you won't get max power. You basically have to match the sub's ohms with the amp's output ohms. |
