Gold Member Username: DrsmithMontana USA Post Number: 2311 Registered: Nov-04 | well i dont HAVE to have 15's, i just love how much lower they can get than 12's i just dont like 12's after owning a 15" |
Gold Member Username: James1115Use a simple... Post Number: 8460 Registered: Dec-04 | the w6v2's dont have SPL compared to 2 btl loaded 15's lol but they do have plenty for someone looking for a SQ system. It's not like they can't get loud. I have heard 2 13w6v2's hit 146.8 ported thats pretty darn loud for a SQ sub. It all depends on the application. |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 8381 Registered: Oct-05 | yeah they do get fairly loud. i've heard 2 12w6v2s hitting 133db playing music. they were in a sealed box too. |
Gold Member Username: DrsmithMontana USA Post Number: 2314 Registered: Nov-04 | hmmmm, interested in W6s i am |
Gold Member Username: DrsmithMontana USA Post Number: 2315 Registered: Nov-04 | but can they take 750 a piece daily ? cuz i kind of would like to run my RF at 1 ohm |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 8392 Registered: Oct-05 | they should be fine. just go easy on the gain and you should be good to go. |
Silver Member Username: 04redmach1Columbus, GA USA Post Number: 287 Registered: Mar-06 | If you don't HAVE to have 15's the SI BM 12 would be nice OR if you would give the ZX series a try from Cadence, I'll give you a HELL of a deal on them Kevin |
