Monday, December 25, 2006 - 17:32 GMT I'm looking for two 12's...the most I could spend is $350 each. I was looking at some DD's or AQ's....for a daily rap listener driver.... I'm guessing that the HD3 will compare to the 3500's from DD....the 9500's are just too expensive. the HD3 12's are $330 each... the DD3512's are about $350 each... which would be louder? which will get lower harder/louder? which would sound better? which one will work better off about 1800w to each sub?

Monday, December 25, 2006 - 18:59 GMT the 9500 compares to it. the 9500 has better cooling than the HD3, therefore handles more power. Both great subs though.

Monday, December 25, 2006 - 20:00 GMT really? so just for cooling the price is doubled? hd3 = 3 hundred n sumthin 9500 = 6 hundred n sumthin so is the cooling really worth almost 300 more dollars? and plus I dont need more room for more wattage cuz I only gots 1800w per sub anyways. so HD3 would be my best bet.....correct?

Monday, December 25, 2006 - 22:02 GMT ^^^ yep, and i own one, the cooling lets the DD take massive amounts of power but the HDs can still handle plenty, 4k a piece or more for comps but 2-3k for daily the 9500 is only like .6 dbs louder on the same power than the HD3

Monday, December 25, 2006 - 23:59 GMT but...COPIED RIGHT OFF THE AudioQue WEBSITE Audioque subs have been designed to extract max performance from moderate box volumes. The 8" subs work in 1.0cuft, 10-inch subs work in 1.5cuft, 12-inch subs work in 2.5cuft , and 15-inch subs work in 4.5cuft. Use these box volumes in multiples to calculate larger usable box volumes. so I should have enough for two 12's....like I said
