In the small footprint game, it seems reasonable to do a digital amp. How does the Alpine PDX line stack up against more traditional analog amps? And does anyone else make a comparable amp? (think $500 budget, 4 channel)
If you are looking for a digital amp look at a Kicker sx 900.4. It produces nearly 1085rms at 13.8V and has some of the best features known to man, that is no BS! Get this, I own FOUR Kicker SX1250.1's and one Kicker SX900.4 and control it all with a SXRC dash controller. Honestly I probably will never need another amp again, no sh!t...Polo.
erm, it must be able to be transverse mounted under the front passenger seat of a 06 Toyota Tundra. Amp size that will work: Alpine PDX series 4.150, Alpine MRX(?) series (the cheap variety 4x40W). I don't know of anything else that beats the price/size/alleged performance of the Alpine PDX 4.150.
