Bronze Member Username: Derick06Texas, Rio G... United States Post Number: 43 Registered: Nov-05 | I was planning on buying some Ascendant Audio 6.5 midwoofers and some tweeters to have an active front stage. Right now I already have a Premier P880PRS Head unit and a Zapco Ref. 360.4 amplifer. Would this be a good idea or should I just buy a component set? |

Gold Member Username: AdddisorderWest palm, Florida Post Number: 2509 Registered: Jan-06 | chances are you cnat because your HU probly doesnt have a Xover for the tweeter, and then the midbass. so get the audiocontrol |

Bronze Member Username: Derick06Texas, Rio G... United States Post Number: 48 Registered: Nov-05 | yeah i read over it and i think it should work. now i need some tweeters that will work with this setup. I was looking at these: http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?exact_match=yes&product=SEA&cart_id=3 93216.12042 The only problem I see is that the each midwoofer and each tweeter will only see 50 watts rms assuming that the tweeters are 4 ohm. what would you all suggest and thank you for all your help. |
