Saturday, December 23, 2006 - 21:32 GMT Go with around 5 cubes tuned to 32-34 hz, and you will be plenty satisfied, especially for the money you spent.

Tuesday, December 26, 2006 - 00:23 GMT With a box that big, you GREATLY reduce the power handling of the sub. Type Rs get very hot easily around 900 watts in a 2.5 box (per sub), so I have a hard time beliving they took that power so well in a box that size.

Tuesday, December 26, 2006 - 16:20 GMT i had mine slot ported in only 1.7cuft & yes they pounded really hard """"type R's are a waste if sealed"""" - thats not exactly true , ported will obviously be louder but i done mine sealed as well ,surprised me how loud yet clean . If space is lacking u can do sealed & still sound quite good ......
