Saturday, December 16, 2006 - 18:10 GMT Hey guys, My friend need a clean sound without installing subwoofers and amps. He needs a HU and componnet speakers. I have suggested him Pioneer 6850 HU. Which speakers will do a better job with them and how to identify a good combination?

Saturday, December 16, 2006 - 19:42 GMT coaxials have the tweeter mounted on the midbass versus the components have the midbass...along with a tweeter that is seperate so you can mount it to your preference and get the sound imaging you want. hope that makes sence and helps

Saturday, December 16, 2006 - 20:01 GMT basically components are better if you run a amp to them because for one they can handle more power than coaxials and you can mount the tweeter anywhere to get the sound that you want
