Silver Member Username: 2pacalypse1971Sandusky, Oh Post Number: 202 Registered: Jul-05 | ok i have 2 12 rockford hx2's and an orion 1200d on them, my question is, can the box tuning cause the amp to clip in situation, for an example i can turn on like a song with a certain type of beat and it will clip like eveyr minute, i have the gain a little less than half, i have a 4volt hu, like i said, in certain songs it will clcip, but then i can like thrown the lil jon cd in and absolutly no clipping at all no matter how long i play it for, i do have a stock 130 altnerator which i was told woudl be alright |

Gold Member Username: N2audioLawrence, Ks USA Post Number: 1041 Registered: Mar-04 | sensitivity on that amp is 0.2v to 5v. Theoretically the gain should be somewhere around the 1/4 range, but I've found setting them right (DMM) can give a lot different results than ballparking it. |
