Does anyone knoe any amp that can equal or better the JL 1000/1 for around $400? I'm looking to push 2 JL 10W7 subs wich wiring to a mono amp would be 1.5 ohms. Im looking for sound quality and deep bass
go to craiglist.org and choose your area and see if you can find a JL for sale locally if you cant afford elsewhere because right now a few guys have um for sale locally in my area on that website
phoenix gold or alpines don't come close to the build quality of the jl audio amps. if you are just looking for something that puts out around same power than you can compare but not build quality.
i'm not comparing the quality. You guys always see the bad side of my post. I just posted those amps cuz of the wiring options and for me the alpine is overrated. At 14.4V to reach 1000w rms. Too expensive for what it does. I'd rather buy an autotek 2000.1D from B and get 1000w rms+ at any load.
If you read well, it says almost, cuz is 4-2 ohm 1000w rms
