New member Username: SlcproPost Number: 3 Registered: Dec-06 | Yes it matters. If you go too low your amp will fry itself. your amp should be labeled as to what it wants to see on each output. If you use one spk per output, you should be ok. Most amps will handle 4 or 8 ohms, the ratings of most speakers. If you are hooking up more speakers per output you need to understand series and parallel connections. If you have a crossover connected between output & speakers go by the listing of the crossover input. Good Luck |
