I am looking for quality sound. I may or may not add a sub. My question is would it be worthwhile to pay a little extra for a better THD and Signal to Noise rating or will it not be noticeable in my truck? The two choices with similar power are below; http://cgi.ebay.com/SOUNDSTREAM-TRA...1QQcmdZViewItem OR http://cgi.ebay.com/SOUNDSTREAM-XTA...oQQcmdZViewItem I can get the latter for $152 so the actual difference is about $27. For example, THD of .1% vs THD .01% will sound identical in a car. However, THD/SN/Slew Rate, Damping factor, PS, design quality and install all together will make a difference in SQ. Therefore, don't get fooled by 1 or 2 numbers. |
