Saturday, December 02, 2006 - 04:40 GMT how much power you got, the type r only needs around 500wrms while the tpe x does good with around 1000+.

Saturday, December 02, 2006 - 05:03 GMT ya thas wat i tell him..i think hes going too. the main reason he didnt in the begining was because he said he wanted to be able to hit the lows and good sq..i told him he could still have that in a ported box if it was made right and to the specs.

Saturday, December 02, 2006 - 05:17 GMT type r's will get louder given the same amount of power...type x's are power hungry crappy sq subs...they dont get that loud at all imo...

Saturday, December 02, 2006 - 05:40 GMT Type R is more power efficient. You give 1000w rms to a type X and the sh1t ain't moving. About the box of the type X, it really sucked IMO and remember the power, if he was giving it 1000w rms the type X was barely moving. Another plus, is that type Rs are cheap, the X is very expensive for what it does.
