Hi all, hopefully someone can help me. I have installed an amp & sub in my car. All works ok but when I turn the car on you can hear a buzzing noise from the speakers & sub. Also when I rev the engine you can hear the reving through the speakers. Any ideas??? thanks. Gav

I would check to make sure your power wire is away from the spark plug wires because cheaper sparkplug wires dont protect against interference with other wires and the other suggestions are also true.

are you referring to the RCA's? cause running your power and RCA's together will NOT cause any alt whine/engine noise or anything else. If you have a DECENT sheilded pair of RCA's, you shouldne ever get this. :-)

redo the ground for your amp. also make sure HU ground is good.
And unless your RCAs were made in the 70's and you took em from a tv to vcr set up, there is no way electrical interferance will effect them. All newer rcas are shielded from emi. Did you put a screw thru em?
