Bronze Member Username: DeathshadowbalPost Number: 16 Registered: May-06 | I have a 99' Toyota Tacoma Extended cab and I have recently aquired a new 12" Adire Brahma in a SubZero Enclosure. Id like some opinnions advice in regards to how much power I should feed the brahma. To me its a toss up between the JL 500/1 and the JL 1000/1 - I dont want the sub to over power my components but I want it to slam when I feel like cranking it. Should I send the brahma 500 Watts or 1000 Watts? I assume the JL 1000/1 (leaning more towards this one) amp can be turned way down so it is not overpowering? My current setup: *Pioneer DEH-P980BT Premier Series (love this HU) *CDT Audio 6.5" Components HD-62/560i Xovers/DRT-26 tweeter set powered by a JL 450/4 |

A amp cant just be turned down like a volume knob either, it is made to be matched with your Headunit's output voltage. |
