Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7415 Registered: Oct-05 | i don't know charlie. it would be a good match up. heard both at the comp and the ssx has better sq while the spl is about the same. infact it was 2 dd9515 and he hit 149 cause his box was tuned for daily. the ssx sounded lower and cleaner and kept up in spl easily. |

Email Post Number: 1772 Registered: Nov-05 | what type of vehicles and installs.. in the proper install 1 dd9515 will get louder than the ssx .. two 9515 did a 153.6 on 12volts @ 46hz.. subs would not fit because of the ports so they had to invert the subs.. thats why the tuning went that low otherwise they would have been burping higher and put up better numbers |

Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7416 Registered: Oct-05 | kevin i know they can hit harder than 149 in a higher tuned box. my point is the ssx sounded alot cleaner and lower than the dd9515 imo. my point is when it comes to those subs, you can't really say which is better. its all a matter of opionion cause they are both very solid subs. i was talking with the guy that had the dd in his car. he told me he is able to get me a 9515 brand new reconed with kevlar cone for $550. good or bad deal. i am not familiar with the price. not that i am going to buy it. |
