New member Username: DiteyenguyenPost Number: 4 Registered: Nov-06 | I am definetely buying a new sub in the next few days, I am just going through a bit of analysis paralysis. In fact, if this group buy had not come up I probably would have already bought an Oz Audio Matrix Elite, which recoomended RMS (700) fits my needs better. My concern has been that if the Mag doesn't do well with less than 750 I would be looking at buying a new amp and box to fit the requirements of my replacement sub. What I am thinking about doing is going with the PG 600.1, which everyone says will do around 800 at 1, 2 or 4 0hm. That way I will have an amp that is flexible enough to work with the OZ or whatever. If I want to upgarde amps later, i will have the flexibility to do so. My other choice would be the Alpine PDX 1000.1 which does 1,000 rms at 2 or 4ohms. Comments? Any other amps this flexible? (Looking for an amp that will do 700 -800 rms that can power either a 2 ohm DVC or a 4 ohm DVC. |
