the comp vr's are rated at 400w rms each and the amp is rated at 1300w rms at 2 ohms, so it'll be close wire the subs for a 2.66 ohm load and you should be in the ballpark
Personally I think the amp would be just fine. I don't know what people in this forum has against Hifonics but they are not all that underrated. 2000w @1ohm so it should be Okay. I have yet to see proof that their amps are not capable of the output they claim. People have to knock them cuz they are cheap. Scared they might have gotten ripped off payin two or three time as much for that amount of power. Just my opinion though. Look at realmofexcursion.com. You would really laugh at some of the amps they have running VERY good subs. Even the XXX's
On another forum according to one of their people the new Hifonics (ie. the BXi2006, 1606,etc.) will do rated power at 14V. the older lines were overrated some but the new ones are supposed to be right on.

"The Brutus BXi1600 series is our every day, basic retail amplifier. It provides 1600 watts @ 1-Ohm / 14.4 volts. It's a good bang for the buck amp.
The XXZeus is one of our many competition level amplifiers. 1600+ watts @ 1-Ohm / 13.2 volts. These amps are built to handle higher operating voltage, run under lower impedances and stand up to the volatile operating conditions of serious competition. The XX series have these advantages over the Brutus line: 1. 25% more and larger output devices 2. Larger / more regulated power supply 3. Heavier hand wound toroids. 4. 30% increase in heat sink mass per mm 5. Balanced Line Input 6. Top Mount controls 7. Clipping indicator light 8. Strappable for master/slave operation. 9. Larger power, ground and speaker terminals 10. Heavier 2 sided pcb 11. Heavier copper component traces.
Hope this helps!"
So those subs will be getting close to their rated power, were is the problem
thanks guys .....now juliob thats why i keep posting the same thread so i can get the right answer now that i have good information i think its gone work
