This is what ive been working on for a few days. I worked yesterday from 10 a.m, until 3 a.m, with about 4 hours of downtime in between. it was alot of work....enjoy the pics...

Upload

first caulked with latex caulk, then put on a
layer of fiberglass resin (no mats)

Upload
resin poured into the corner

Upload

Upload

daily port ~34hz port....3.8 cuft net

i plan on cutting off ~1.5" because after putting in support boards, having the box slightly shorter than 16",and resining, the box lost some cuft, and i think the tuning is around like 31 - 32 now.

i would spend a few $$$ & buy some good wires maybe even use 8g power cable on it

i know some cases where ppl had thin wires on their subs & after a while it melted .....

Some designs allow you to leave the box un-dampened. I am wondering how it sounds? Does it sound boxy or hollow? The thinnest dampening I have personally used is two pannels(back and bottom) with 5/8" carpet padding.
