Bronze Member Username: CoreylPost Number: 15 Registered: Oct-06 | it appears that the woofers from my alpine spr-17ls components are damaged. I bought the set on ebay and its too late to return them. I'm thinking of replacing the woofers with a pair of poly 6.5. Will this work? Spr-17ls specs: 70 rms (350 peak) 87db poly 6.5 specs: 100rms 88db |

Just make sure that the woofer you are getting can do the freq range that it will be playing (make sure it doesn't roll off before the x-over point on the x-over) |

It's not that easy to mix ant match if you want to achieve good results. Just get this: http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=9838330.12218&pid=2129 It will sound better than your Alpine set. ![]() |
