Replacing woofer from components set

I bought the set on ebay and its too late to return them. I'm thinking of replacing the woofers with a pair of poly 6.5. Will this work? Just make sure that the woofer you are getting can do the freq range that it will be playing (make sure it doesn't roll off before the x-over point on the x-over) |

It's not that easy to mix ant match if you want to achieve good results. Just get this: http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=9838330.12218&pid=2129 It will sound better than your Alpine set.  |
