Wednesday, November 22, 2006 - 02:12 GMT Hey guys, im going to be installing a small system in the metal box of death that I have (93 Olds Cutlass Ciera) and the amplifier that I am planning on buying will be drawing out around 400 Watts RMS from my battery. Im not really sure what type of alt. I have or how powerfull my battery is because the sticker is ripped off it... but, do any of you guys think i'll have any electrical problems with a 400 watt withdraw on my car?

Wednesday, November 22, 2006 - 02:24 GMT as long as the charging system is good then you'll be fine. a stock alt. will have no problems at all running 400wrms.

Wednesday, November 29, 2006 - 05:54 GMT I agree there is no reason to do the + side because it has to flow through the - side to complete the circuit
