Bronze Member Username: Akaresse_2008Post Number: 22 Registered: May-06 | the battery is good i had it tested yesterday. |

I thought my batterys were dead and after switching out 3 new batterys, I tested the alt. and found out it wasn't charging the battry at all! |

Gold Member Username: AdddisorderWest palm, Florida Post Number: 1996 Registered: Jan-06 | the v4. im pretty sure the alt is different for that engine. ill look around and see if it will fit |
Bronze Member Username: Sinful_systems70Post Number: 92 Registered: Nov-06 | If your alt is no good then the battery could not be getting gharged. Battery was drained after alternator failure so battery should not have tested "good". Could have recharged some but not enough from making you car not start or tun over to testing good. I would check terminals, the starter solinoid, starter, and ignition. Does the car: click, turn, turn slow , or nothing at all? Does any lights or accessories work? |
