I have seen many names in this fourm. Like Eclipse, RE, DD, Type R, JBL, JL, Kicker etc etc. If you would have to buy a pair of subs with an amount of $400, which would be your choice??
lemme rephrase...if you have the proper electrical system. number and power of amps. size in your ride for the number of subs/size of box. then yes, the Fi Q's(i think that is what you are referring to) would be a good choice. but just b/c they are cheap doesn't make them the "best".
third and final post until someone replies. i am not trying to argue with anyone, but to simply challenge you/enlighten you and make you think in different ways.
OK. But what about eclipse, JL and the olde but polpular brands on this forum? Eclipse and JL subs looks very killer in shape and size. are they worht their price?
eclipses tend to lean towards "more excursion than other sub types" and SQ. MAGs are too high in demand right now - you'll be lucky to get one for $400, dual Qs will run you closer to 500 than 400, and JL and Eclipse will be outdone by other brands. I used to focus on the mainstream subs like that as well, but honestly I think you'd be satisfied with 2 Fi SSDs - decent SQL subs and not expensive either.
so when you say $400 for a pair of subs is that INCLUDING shipping or not? Because that'll make a hell of a difference 400 is including it. I've never shipped anything international and if we go by shipping weight, some of the nicer subs with thewill probably cost you $200 to ship a pair to India.
