When you turn up the "bass" option on your deck, is it supposed to turn up the bass in your speakers, or turn up your subwoofer? I just got an alpine 9856 and got an amp and subwoofer connected to it, but when i turn down the bass, it turns off my sub, but i just want the bass taken out of my speakers..? any help?
I did that, and local dealer says thats part of the 9856, doesn't seem right though..i had an older alpine deck (9847) and i was able to distinguish if i wanted to turn up just my speakers or just my sub, one at a time, instead of both at the same time.
