When i got my jl audio box from someone it had Like cotton all in it.. It sounded good with the Jl audio sub, but i put my alpine x-10 in it and it doesnt sound good. Could all the cotton be messing up the sound because of the major size difference in the sub? The X-10 has a hole on the bottom of the magnet, so if theres like cotton pushed up against it could it be messing with the sound?
Ey i dont know all that much about this stuff.. Looks like cotton to me.. Thats why i ask, i kno you guys usually know.. I know someone to build a box for me but how do i know the exact specs.? And id go for a sealed box, easier to build right>?
Thanks.. Im prob. gonna piss someone off, but i cant buy one thats got the specs. i need .5-1.0 cu ft.??? Its jus so much easier than gettin this dude to build one.
