Also, just out of curiosity, where are you using the 6.5's? If you are putting them in the trunk with the sub, thats really just a waste. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 289 Registered: Mar-06 | no the 6.5s are in the doors.. not in the trunk.. but is it possibe to wire all that to one amp..? thanks.. |
Gold Member Username: RovinTrinidad & T... Post Number: 9714 Registered: Jul-05 | if its just 1 pair of 6.5 & a single sub then any good 4chan amp will do use chan 1 & 2 on speakers & either bridge chan 3&4 or run run 3&4 on each coil of a dual coil sub ..... |

Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 290 Registered: Mar-06 | so u saying there is no way to put 4 6.5s and a sub to one 600 RMS amp...? |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 291 Registered: Mar-06 | can't i put the + and - of the front speakers channel 1 channel and + and - of the rear speakers in channel 2 and bridge channel 3&4 for the sub? thanks |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7021 Registered: Oct-05 | if your speakers are 4ohms, by doing that your amp will see a 2ohm load. as long as your amp can handle that then you are fine. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 292 Registered: Mar-06 | please help me ^^^ |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7022 Registered: Oct-05 | if that was my setup, i'd just connect the front speakers and the sub to the amp. let the rear speakers run off the hu. |
Gold Member Username: RovinTrinidad & T... Post Number: 9719 Registered: Jul-05 | agree with chad but if u still want to power all 4 speakers/1 sub & still have some tuning ability then buy a 5 chan amp ....... |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 293 Registered: Mar-06 | ok.. my speakers are pioneer TS-D161R and their site say it's 4 ohm 2076_310069898_191756456_tab=B%2C00.html?compName=PNA_V3_ProductDetailsComponent #,http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069898_ 191756456_tab=B,00.html?compName=PNA_V3_ProductDetailsComponent# so that should work right??? |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 294 Registered: Mar-06 | thanks for the opinion rovin. but i want to stick to this amp.. audiobahn A6004t.. It's a 4 channel 600 RMS amp.. if that helps.. thanks |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7024 Registered: Oct-05 | you can do that joe but i would advice you not to. trust me, just run the front speakers and the sub off the amp and the rear speakers off the hu. please. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 295 Registered: Mar-06 | what is the reasoning behind it.. not challenging ur intelligence in any way... just wanna know.. will the sound be different for the rear speakers if i do that.. ? thanks.. |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7025 Registered: Oct-05 | i don't use rearfills in my car. to me i want the sound to come from the front. there are people who do like rearfills but i don't. it just sounds more natural from the front. besides you will have your sub back there. that is why i am saying it isn't necessary to amp your rear speakers. besides you will have better tuning ability like rovin said by doing what i told you. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 296 Registered: Mar-06 | i hope i'm not bothering u.. but if i put all 4 6.5" to the amp on channel 1 & 2 and bridge the sub to channel 3&4 ... is there any harm that i could do to anything... .. i mean both rovin and chad lee say that let the rear speakers run off fromt he HU..... thanks.. |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7030 Registered: Oct-05 | no harm by doing what you say joe. and no bother. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 297 Registered: Mar-06 | thank you... i guess i got what i wanted to hear... lol.. one more thing... 2 + wires can go in a in 1 channel of the amp +.. right.. u get what i'm saying.. right.. |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindFi AudioBTL Post Number: 7031 Registered: Oct-05 | yeah i know what you are saying. yes they can. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 298 Registered: Mar-06 | THANK YOU! chad lee and rovin... very much.. |
