Monday, November 06, 2006 - 17:27 GMT i bought a 2 jl 12w08 sub with enclosure. The jl are rated 125rms each. The enclosure only have 1 terminal. Shouldn't the enclosure have 2 terminals since there are 2 subs? If i hook it up to a 300w 2 channel amp, would the power distribute evenly to both sub?

Monday, November 06, 2006 - 18:29 GMT it is set up to run at 4 ohms, so if you hook it up to the 2 channel bridged it it theory would see 150w per sub.

Monday, November 06, 2006 - 20:19 GMT thats if the amp can handle a 2ohm load. You may be best to wire each sub to each channel.

Monday, November 06, 2006 - 23:34 GMT I'm hooking them up to a kicker kx300.2 amp. Heres the spec. 75 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms 150 watts x 2 at 2 ohms 300 watts x 1 in bridged mode This should be able to handle the sub w/o any problems right?
