Box dimensions - sound right?

Kevin Wrubel Silver Member Username: Kwrubel21 Shelby Township, MI United States Post Number: 258 Registered: Dec-05	Posted on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 - 19:51 GMT i'm making a box for a 12" kicker CVX. i'm going half way between the reccomended minimum/maximum size for a ported enclosure, excluding the port area, which is 2cuft. i put in this information on the site port type - square enclosure volume - 2.008 desired tuning frequency - 35hz is this a slot port - yes sqaure vent height - 14.5in square vent width - 2in and it gave me a port length of 26.33 inches. does this sound correct to you guys? also, is 35hz a good tuning frequency for this sub?
