New member Username: LeonardotmntPost Number: 5 Registered: Oct-06 | How much of a difference in quality is there between cheap and expensive digital multimeters? Would a cheap one like this http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-7-FUNCTION-DIGITAL-MULTIMETER-AC-DC-VOLTAGE-TESTER_W0QQi temZ230043121001QQihZ013QQcategoryZ25412QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem work for testing the voltage on an amp to set the gain? If not is there a cheap one that someone can recommend? Thanks |

I was looking at http://subwoofertools.com/forum/setgain.asp at first and I'm not sure it's what I really wanted. That won't help me match up the preout voltage on my HU with the input sensitivity with the gain will it? I'm kind of confused about this whole deal. Is there any DMM you can recommend that isn't really expensive? |
