92 ford explorer radio wiring colors please help!

New member Username: CostomcorollaPost Number: 1 Registered: Oct-06 | im trying to install an aftermarket head unit in my 92 explorer and when i bought the truck the wiring harness for the speakers had been cut. if any one can help me the colors of the wires are. green white/red lt. blue lt. blue/black white/orange yellow brown purple/white the power harness is still in contact so i am able to use that. i just cant figure out the speakers, any help would be much appreciated. |

Gold Member Username: TjmutlowPost Number: 3095 Registered: Sep-05 | sounds like it was a premium harness, best way is to take a cordless drill battery and test the wires, start with the first 2...most of the books shows standard wiring harness not premium. |

New member Username: CostomcorollaPost Number: 2 Registered: Oct-06 | i am still un able to figure out the speakers. the diagram wasent to much help the wires run through an amplifier and come out diffrent colors, are the numbers suposeto match up? and there was no polarity noted. and i tried the battery thing an got nothing, any other ideas? |
