This is the box i did 148.6dB at 48hz w/ in my silverado w/ 1 SX15 and a bp1200.1. Comes w/ 3 interchangable ports...~46hz, ~31hz, and ~38hz. the 46hz and 31hz ports are nice and have been rounded off w/ a router...the 38hz port is 'rough'. 2 layer of resin in the box 1/2" threaded rod bracing wired w/ 12ga speaker wire braced baffle braced front ~5.5cuft w/ 31hz port, ~6cuft w/ 46hz port...cutout for 1 15" sub.  I only want $130+ship...i need the $ for a batt  |

Gold Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 3542 Registered: Mar-04 | Yea...I'm building 4" and 6" areos now. My new box has 3 6" aroes...flared to 8.5". I'll start selling them pretty soon. I think I will be able to get the price down to around $25+ship for a 6" kit. 2 6" flares 2 connecting rings 1 center pipe (prolly 22" total length, flare to flare) I will build them so that they will tune a 2.5cuft net box to 35hz w/ the stock length. (no cutting) I will also do custom lengths. I'll post pics of my new 6" flares this weekend...they look ALOT better than my old flares. |

If all you are gonna do is play then daily and you dont want to be able to change tuning for SPL...it would be just fine. 2 6" flares would get it...or a 60-75sq inch slot port. you could change the center tube in the flared ports and change tuning. |
