The purpose of it is to seal off the trunk from the cabin. Not only that but it will make for a lot cleaner looking install . Of course that part will be assembled in the trunk first then the box will slide to it where it will then be mounted. This is a rough sketch but you get the idea.. |
Gold Member Username: AdddisorderWest palm, Florida Post Number: 1305 Registered: Jan-06 | looks cool, so i take it your looseing the back seat? one thing to consider is after you put screws in and out of the same hole in mdf it doesnt really stay in there becasue it doesnt grip anything. so if your changing ports a lot the screws might not hold after a while so maybe think of a better way to keep it attached |
