Amp Placement

Here is a pic of my box. There is room underneath where the subs are to hide the spair tire and i could possibly fit an amp there.

IMO if i were you i would cut a piece of MDF around the size of your amp (a little bigger) then carpet it and attach that to your box, then your amp to that piece. i would think the amp would be safe with double the thickness.

Do as stated above but also put a piece of rubber inbetween the amp and the carpet. The rubber will absorb all of the vibrations if any.
