Sunday, October 15, 2006 - 06:54 GMT Everyones going to have their own opinion so whats the point. Plus if you say whats better for price, Fi and AQ comes out. You should know Fi and RE are somewhat alike, and DD and AQ are somewhat alike as well. So its more like Fi or DD? But thats my opinion.

Sunday, October 15, 2006 - 13:26 GMT as far as Durability/overbuilding. DD(nobody come close to DD) Audioque Fi/RE and i could argue that as well, but since the AQ's undergoe the same build process minus the extensive cooling machined throughout the motor, it comes next

Sunday, October 15, 2006 - 13:27 GMT Personally I would take RE totally out of the picuture. The new line of RE subs are over priced. So look into Fi,DD or Audioque

Wednesday, October 18, 2006 - 05:08 GMT Build quality...DD and Audioque I have seen DD's take a beating from hell and laugh. Yea, i did swap to a dd9515...in the dirrect swap i did into my SX15 box i lost a few dB, but i was running the SX at 1ohm on a bp1200.1 and had the 9515 at 1.4ohm on the same amp. My max w/ the SX15 was 148.6dB. I have since got a IA 20.1 and rebuilt...twice...lol. Got back on up to 147.1 on my first rebuild (4.5cuft w/ four 4" flared ports). I have not metered my second rebuild yet though...4.5cuft, 2-3 layers resin, threaded rod, and three 6" flared ports. Sounds LOUD though Roof is going even more crazy then it did when i did the 148's w/ the SX15.
