Gold Member Username: Logan__tilleHamilton, Indiana United states Post Number: 1797 Registered: Feb-06 | the 12 and 1Os will be more punchy and the 15s and 18s will be more of a boom |
Gold Member Username: Extrmndor3Chicago, Ill Us Post Number: 2118 Registered: Feb-06 | thats doesnt mean anything , if u get a big single sub in a small box will be more of a punchy bass but if u put it in a large to medioum will be more boom. why: bigger box pumps out: 1.louder 2.more bass 3.bass that is deeper and lower in frequency 4.bass that shakes and vibrates your car harder(it "feels" better and more intence) also punchy and boomby its only made by the subs. its how the car reacts to the sound waves. remember sytem its not only subs+amps=system. its loudspeaker + box + amplifier + car = system remember this too: A 10 inch woofer in a 2 cubic foot box will put out deeper bass than an 18 inch woofer in a 2 cubic foot box. This is because the 18 inch woofer is suffocating and choking in a box that is to small. lilrob |
