I'm debating the Alpine CDA-9856 vs Sony CDXGT400.
Points of debate:
Alpine - better quality, right? Sony - has 22w RMS vs. Alpine 18w RMS. Isn't sound quality drastically influenced by wattage, and RMS the truest indicator of average watts? Not adding an amp, so is the good Sony the better choice due to wattage over a cheap Alpine?
iPod connectivity rate - both have iPod connects... Alpine has "Full-speed", meaning you can search through albums, tracks, artists at the same fast speed as on the iPod itself; all other receivers scroll through frustratingly so, I hear. Experience?
Would REALLY appreciate your help. Am going mental over these little points.
