not to contradict the doc...but..you could also go with 2 HD's like you were planning...DJ the owner of AQ is running 2 HD's one 1k per sub...The HD will definitely perform at 1k...but...if money is an issue i would go 1 HD like doc said...

from what i have heard very good sub. but i dont know how they would compare with the hd spl wise

i havent heard either, but i am willing to bet the HD's are cleaner....the Mojo is more of an SPL sub...the HD is essentially an overbuilt SQL sub:-)
