Amp for BTL

adam Silver Member Username: Hockeyknight Post Number: 342 Registered: Apr-06	Posted on Wednesday, October 04, 2006 - 22:15 GMT im planning on getting a 15" btl fully loaded and planning on runnin 2 2000rms amps to it....what are some amps that will do the job?? after the sub, alt and wiring ill have like 800 left over for amps and i got 1 more q? do i need some yellow tops and if so how many batteries should i have thanks

Post Number: 124 Registered: Sep-06	Posted on Friday, October 06, 2006 - 15:28 GMT incriminator audio amps are really good... you can strap em together.... some people strap them even at .5 ohms and somtimes at .25 ohms. kicker kx d class amps are really good too. 1 btl will take 4000 watts no problem, and dependant on application it'll take it Daily!

Why are you going to give 4k rms if you can reach full excursion with less power... i don't see the reason to double the power, except if the sub can't reach full excursion with the rated power.
